Westminster Security Group acquires risk management business Afrisist

WESTMINSTER SECURITY Group has announced the acquisition of Afrisist, the provider of innovative security and risk management solutions in Africa. This strategic move positions Westminster Security to enhance its global service offer and expand on market presence.

Based in South Africa, Afrisist operates a state-of-the-art Control Room in Cape Town with over 200 nationwide response teams offering core services including stolen vehicle tracking and recovery, armed officers and vehicle escorts, alarm monitoring and custom bureau services.

As part of the Westminster Security Group, Afrisist will provide personal protection services throughout the continent and, by virtue of doing so, enhance its global operational capabilities.

As the threat and risk landscape evolves, both companies recognise the need for collaboration and advanced security solutions that address increasingly complex challenges. The combination of Westminster Security’s reach and established reputation, plus Afrisist’s 24/7 Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) and sector expertise, will serve to create a comprehensive suite of services designed to meet the diverse needs of security astute international businesses and individuals alike.
