Traka debuts supply chain security solutions at IntraLogisteX 2024

TRAKA UK is attending IntraLogisteX 2024 and delivering a keynote presentation pledging its support to supply chain providers, while also unveiling powerful new locker solutions to enhance security and operational efficiency.

On 19 March at 1.45 pm, Traka’s supply chain lead Matt Gregg will deliver a seminar session entitled ‘How to Transform Operational Efficiency Through Intelligent Device Management’, outlining ways in which businesses looking to boost security and streamline their operations can be supported in doing so.

On Stand 522 at the NEC in Birmingham, Traka will unveil its pioneering locker systems featuring specialist RFID technology, tailored exclusively for distribution and logistics networks across the entire supply chain.

This innovative new system design will provide seamless management capability for tools and equipment, enhancing efficiency by optimising the ease and speed of access to necessary tools that are essential for job completion.

Supporting supply chain businesses

Matt Gregg commented: “IntraLogisteX is the perfect place for us to debut our new asset management solutions, demonstrating how we are constantly evolving our portfolio to support supply chain businesses and overcome the operational issues now being faced. Those issues include how to secure critical assets and avoid unnecessary costs and, by extension, improve output to remain competitive in a challenging supply chain landscape.”

Gregg continued: “Through implementing the latest security technology, businesses can gain full transparency over device locations with dedicated audit trails improving accountability. With software enabling key features such as fault-finding for devices, systems can come together to ensure maximum operational efficiency throughout the supply chain, in parallel significantly reducing employee downtime.”

Live displays

Traka demonstrates the versatility of its supply chain solutions through its multi-door device lockers, which allow for different types of equipment to be stored in different-sized compartments with no compromise on security or aesthetics.

Visitors to the NEC will be able to witness live displays of Traka’s temporary deposit locker, itself configured to accommodate a large number of users who only require short-term storage facilities. Charging facilities can be built into the system such that users can re-charge a laptop or smart phone, for example.

Gregg concluded: “There’s no one-size-fits-all logistics solution. We are looking forward to discussing bespoke applications. Our systems have proven to help save time and money, while promoting accountability among employees and enhancing security and Health and Safety within supply chain businesses.”

Dedicated management system

Traka’s key management systems, including the S Touch Pro, use a dedicated management system with touchscreen technology. The latter is an easy-to-use system for streamlining operations and delivering an intuitive customer experience.
