THE FOURTH annual Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) Thought Leadership Summit, organised in association with the National Security Inspectorate, takes place on Thursday 24 February 2022 at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in central London.
Firmly established in the calendar as an opportunity to directly confront issues faced by the security industry, 2022 will be no exception will be no exception to that rule for the OSPAs Thought Leadership Summit. As always, the event guarantees to address hot topics, be lively and thought provoking, in turn providing an engaging platform on which to address and challenge key topics.
This year, the OSPAs Thought Leadership Summit will examine the Protect Duty and its implications for the security sector. Michelle Russell, CEO of the Security Industry Authority, will talk about what’s realistic to expect from the regulator, while Paul Evans (CEO at Carlisle Support Services) and Jason Towse (managing director for soft services at Mitie) will discuss who the winners and losers are among security suppliers.
The full programme will be released shortly, but the speaker line-up promises to include high-profile influential thought leaders from public and private sector organisations, all of whom will inspire new insights, air their views and debate matters that have, in the past, perhaps been left unchallenged.
The OSPAs is an independent global awards scheme currently running in 13 countries to recognise and reward companies and individuals across the security sector for their endeavours. The OSPAs are designed to be both independent and inclusive, providing an opportunity for outstanding performers to be recognised and their success to be celebrated.
