Stephen Grainger appointed senior security advisor at Carlisle Support Services

Having functioned in strategic positions of authority and operations within policing in London, the finance sector, local authorities and within the sporting and events industry at international levels, Grainger brings a wealth of expertise to Carlisle Support Services.

His background encompasses diverse leadership roles, including serving as operational commander at the Metropolitan Police Service Training College and for the Royalty Protection Command, acting as the interim director of community safety for Newham Council and functioning as the chief operating officer for a specialist asset management consultancy.

For the last 16 years, Grainger has worked at the All-England Lawn Tennis Club, holding the position of head of security since 2013 with direct responsibility for delivering a safe regime at The Championships.

As senior security adviser at Carlisle Support Services, Grainger will provide valuable support in several key areas. These include offering strategic and tactical operational advice, conducting gap analyses and sharing expertise for both day-to-day security contracts and event management.

Grainger will work closely with the director of counter-terrorism and risk to guide client interactions, foster integration and enhance customer satisfaction. He will also be available to work closely with all of Carlisle Support Services’ clients on specific and detailed projects, while in parallel providing executive level advice when and where required.
