Mark Williams appointed vice-president of sales (EMEA) at Reconeyez

RECONEYEZ, THE provider of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered autonomous security solutions, has announced the appointment of Mark Williams in the role of vice-president of sales (EMEA), thereby strengthening the company’s leadership team as the business enters a new phase of international expansion having joined the VOSKER Group this year.

Peter Young, CEO of Reconeyez, commented: “Mark joins Reconeyez at an incredibly exciting time for the business. Having joined the VOSKER Group, we’re bringing together two industry-leading technologies, VOSKER and Reconeyez, in order to deliver the best solutions in remote surveillance and perimeter protection for remote and hard-to-reach sites.”

Young continued: “With the launch of VOSKER PRO and the expansion of our combined technology platform, we are entering a new phase that will see developments in our AI capabilities, cloud platform and security technology.”

Further, Young noted: “Mark’s deep experience across the security industry, particularly so in terms of leading global teams, developing partner-led growth strategies and driving organic growth across international markets, will be invaluable as we continue to scale across the EMEA region and support our installer and integrator network.”

Strong understanding

Williams is a well-known figure in the security industry. He has worked for a major integrator and brings additional experience from senior roles held at both AMAG Technology and Remsdaq.

His background spans both the manufacturer and integrator side of the market, duly affording him a strong understanding of the commercial, operational and partner requirements shaping security growth across the EMEA region.

Commenting on his appointment, Williams stated: “What drew me to Reconeyez iss the technology. The ability to deliver reliable and autonomous security combining durable hardware with AI-powered detection in locations where traditional systems simply don’t work is a very powerful proposition, particularly so as demand grows across the critical infrastructure and energy domains, within the border security space and for other remote environments.”

Remote surveillance

With the backing of the VOSKER Group and the introduction of new technologies such as VOSKER PRO and video streaming, Reconeyez is expanding what’s possible in remote surveillance.

“I’m excited to work closely with our team and partners across Europe, the Middle East and Africa,” asserted Williams, “building on the company’s reputation for excellence and delivering practical and scalable security solutions using AI that reduces false alarms, lowers operational burden and solves real-world challenges for installers, integrators and end users.”

Williams joined the Reconeyez and VOSKER Group teams at The Security Event, which ran at the NEC in Birmingham from 28-30 April. The companies exhibited on Stand K60 in Hall 5.

With over three million cameras deployed worldwide and a presence in more than 120 countries, VOSKER Group strengthens the ability of Reconeyez to innovate, integrate and support long-term growth across international markets.
