SGC Security Services enters partnership with NHS Foundation Trust

SECURITY INDUSTRY Authority Approved Contractor SGC Security Services has announced the start of a new partnership with University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust, itself one of the UK’s leading teaching hospitals.

The new partnership, which commenced on 1 July, brings together the NHS Trust’s long-term commitment to the safety and well-being of patients, visitors and staff with SGC Security Services’ experience of working in complex healthcare environments. Under the partnership, SGC Security Services is responsible for delivering security services across the NHS Trust’s hospital sites.

SGC Security Services will work closely with University Hospital Southampton to maintain high standards of security and safeguarding, helping to support the smooth operation of hospital services and a positive experience across the NHS Trust.

Shared commitment

SGC Security Services is committed to supporting training, professional development, safeguarding responsibilities and well-being initiatives, ensuring officers are equipped, confident and supported in their roles. This includes maintaining awareness of safeguarding procedures, recognising and responding to concerns and helping to create a safe environment.

Reflecting the vital contribution security colleagues make to customer experience, safety and staff well-being across the hospital is important.
