Kings Secure Technologies named supplier on NHS SBS Framework Agreement

Kings Secure Technologies has been named in the following lots within this Framework Agreement:

Lot 1: Guarding Services

Lot 3: Supply, Installation and Maintenance of CCTV and VSS

Lot 4: Supply and Monitoring of Lone Working/Staff Call

Lot 5: Supply, Installation and Maintenance of Security Alarms, Fire Alarms and Access Control Systems

The inclusion in this Framework Agreement (Security Services, CCTV and VSS | SBS10502) allows the business to further its stated mission of delivering comprehensive and reliable security, fire and life safety services to a broader range of clients.

Through the Framework Agreement, contracting authorities can access pre-approved suppliers to suit all requirements, from regional SME specialists through to national providers. On the back of this new opportunity, Kings Secure Technologies is poised to enhance its offer and continue with its aim of setting high standards.

Full scope of services

Nick Verburg, head of category management at NHS Shared Business Services, commented: “The NHS Shared Business Services Framework Agreement has been developed to provide the NHS with a full scope of security services including security guarding, CCTV, VSS, consultancy, lone working devices and security alarms.”

Verburg continued: “Part of the evaluation process measured the ability of bidders to tackle modern slavery in their supply chain and provide apprenticeships through the delivery of the Framework Agreement. Approved organisations using it will benefit from working with suppliers who are committed to delivering social value.”

He concluded: “The Framework Agreement has been developed with a regional structure to facilitate both national and SME suppliers. The NHS is delighted to see a blend of awarded suppliers to provide a choice of solutions for the NHS.”
