James Gribben appointed chief commercial officer at BSIA

THE BRITISH Security Industry Association (BSIA) has appointed James Gribben in the role of chief commercial officer. The BSIA is, of course, the Trade Association for the professional security industry here in the UK.

Gribben joins the organisation having gained 20 years of commercial experience in the fire and security sectors, specialising in leading sales and marketing roles. Indeed, Gribben has a strong track record of aligning marketing strategy with sales objectives for companies including SMC, Stanley Security and Tyco.

At the BSIA, Gribben’s prime responsibility will be to drive membership retention and accelerate membership growth, working closely with the marketing/communications and membership teams.

Speaking about the appointment, Mike Reddington (CEO at the BSIA) observed: “I’m delighted that James is joining the BSIA as our new chief commercial officer. His many years of experience in the industry working with some of the leading companies in the field will be of great assistance to the Trade Association as we build on our recent successes and drive forward accelerated growth in the coming years.”

Gribben is based in the North West and takes up his new role this month.
