Corps Security wins three-year contract with Neovia Logistics

SECURITY SERVICES provider Corps Security has won a three-year contract with logistics solutions specialist Neovia Logistics in the wake of a competitive tendering process. A total of ten Corps Security officers will now provide estate security, security guarding, site support and searching services at Neovia Logistics’ Distribution Centre near Milton Keynes.

Neovia Logistics was founded back in 1987 as Caterpillar Logistics Services in order to support Caterpillar International and its partner companies in the construction, automotive, energy, mining and other industries. In 2012, the business became a standalone entity, taking on the Neovia name to signify a new path, while at the same time remaining true to its heritage and experience.

With its global headquarters located in Dallas, Neovia Logistics is recognised as one of the world’s leading third party contract logistics companies providing bespoke solutions for a range of organisations operating in the automotive, aerospace, industrial, technology and consumer goods sectors.

Security protocols

Under the contract, Corps Security will provide comprehensive security services for Neovia Logistics, which operates in a highly regulated environment requiring stringent security protocols to meet accreditation requirements on behalf of its clients. The contract will expand the site's security provision to cover multiple access points. There will be a dedicated site cover team.

Neovia Logistics selected Corps Security for its strong account management structure and roll-out plan proposed at the tender stage, a clear regional support strategy and the company’s strong accessibility compliance.

Neovia Logistics was also impressed by Corps Security’s Environmental, Social and Governance and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion commitments as well as the security company’s comprehensive operational protocols that align with the site's specific needs.

Comprehensive understanding

Mark Williams, site support manager at Neovia Logistics, commented: “Security is paramount in our highly regulated operations. We were impressed by Corps Security’s comprehensive understanding of our needs and the cost-effective approach put forward. We’re confident that we have selected the right partner to deliver the services our site requires.”

Dale Johnson, regional manager at Corps Security, responded: “We’re delighted to partner with Neovia Logistics and enhance the company’s site security. This contract demonstrates our ability to adapt and meet the complex needs of highly regulated logistics environments. We look forward to supporting Neovia Logistics’ complex operations.”
