Barry Clayton appointed head of commercial partnerships at Texecom

Prior to joining Texecom, Clayton has held roles in the retail sector focused on internal investigations and physical security and also managed multimillion-pound electronic security projects across various sectors, most recently on behalf of a national systems integration group.

Commenting on his appointment, Clayton informed Security Matters: “Joining Texecom at this stage of its growth journey is a fantastic opportunity. It’s a British manufacturer with a global footprint. I’m excited about applying my expertise, experience and skills to demonstrate the benefits of the Texecom suite of solutions within key market sectors, not only from the security system end users’ perspective, but also based on my experience as a solutions integrator and having worked for a leading security manufacturer.”

Clayton will now report directly to David Mountfield, Texecom’s chief revenue officer. Mounfield commented: “I’m delighted to welcome Barry to the team. His experience speaks for itself. Coupled with our professionally graded solutions and an exciting product roadmap, I’m looking forward to working with Barry in order to support our key customers moving forward.”

Clayton has already begun meeting with key customers, end users and distribution partners alike and will continue to do so at The Security Event, which runs at the NEC in Birmingham from 30 April-2 May.

Visitors to Stand F10 in Hall 5 will be able to witness Texecom’s all-new SmartCom Pro communicator, Digital Services and intruder detection solutions.
