AURA – THE dedicated safety network delivering on-the-ground security response through a network of private security responders and smart technology – has launched its new Security Installer Programme, affording security installers and systems integrators alike a simple way in which to expand their service offering and unlock recurring revenue by adding on-demand physical response to the sites they already protect.
Designed to complement existing alarm, CCTV and monitoring services, the Security Installer Programme allows partners to offer clients a more complete security solution, while also creating an additional recurring monthly revenue opportunity without investment in response vehicles, employing security officers or building their own operational infrastructure.
As demand grows for security solutions that extend beyond detection, installers and integrators are increasingly looking for ways in which to deliver greater value for customers, while developing more predictable recurring revenue streams. AURA's Security Installer Programme has been built to help partners achieve both.
Through the Security Installer Programme, partners gain access to AURA's technology platform and responder network. This means that, when an alarm is triggered, the nearest vetted responder in AURA’s network is automatically dispatched to the location. Average response times in the UK are under 29 minutes. The service works alongside existing alarm systems, CCTV installations and Alarm Receiving Centres (ARCs)/Alarm Monitoring Centres, allowing businesses to integrate on-demand response into their current operations without changing the technologies they already use.
The Security Installer Programme also includes a mobile-first site activation tool, allowing technicians to capture site information – including access instructions, key contacts and site-specific risks – during installation, helping to ensure response information is available whenever an incident occurs.
Partners purchase the service at a fixed rate per site per month, allowing a flexible mark-up for wholesale pricing and meaning that partners can determine their own customer pricing. This allows them to build recurring service revenue, while AURA manages the technology platform, responder dispatch and its network of vetted response providers.
Installer Masterclass
In order to support the launch, AURA is hosting an Installer Masterclass, providing an in-depth introduction to the Security Installer Programme, how it works, the commercial opportunity available for partners and the steps required to set the ball rolling. The online session is designed for security installers, ARC operators, system integrators and monitoring providers interested in expanding their service offering with on-demand response.
Interested businesses can watch the Installer Masterclass and learn more about joining the AURA Security Installer Programme online.
“Security businesses are increasingly looking beyond traditional installation and monitoring services to find new ways in which to add value for their customers,” stated Alex Booth, UK managing director at AURA. “Our Installer Programme gives partners a straightforward way in which to add physical response to their existing offering, in turn helping them to strengthen their customer proposition, while building a new source of recurring revenue. Crucially, they can do this without having to build or manage their own response infrastructure.”
Warren Myers, AURA’s co-founder and CEO, added: “As AURA continues to expand across the UK, partnerships with security installers, ARCs and integrators will play an increasingly important role in scaling access to on-demand response.”
Myers concluded: “Our goal is to work alongside the existing security ecosystem, enabling businesses to offer a comprehensive solution, while leveraging AURA’s technology and responder network. The Security Installer Programme represents an important step forward in building a more connected and responsive security infrastructure.”
