MiniAir 2 occupies centre stage for CSL at the NEC

DESCRIBED AS the ideal mobile upgrade for digital communicators, MiniAir 2 is CSL’s new single-path signalling solution that uses a 4G/LTE-M path to signal an alarm from a protected premises to an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). The new solution will be on display at The Security Event.

It comes with a standby SIM as a back-up to safeguard a given system if the active SIM fails. Both SIMs operate on an independent network from the other for total resilience.

MiniAir 2 is designed for both commercial and residential premises as an affordable upgrade from a digital communicator to secure signalling.

The UK’s telephone network upgrade (ie All-IP) is now well underway. Hundreds of thousands of alarm systems are still using legacy digital communicators that rely on PSTN. MiniAir 2 provides a cost-effective, future-proofed, radio signalling solution to ensure that alarm systems can still send signals to the ARC. This professional signalling upgrade also ensures systems maintain their existing Unique Reference Numbers for the police service.
