SECURITAS UK has appointed Alexandra Davis as its new chief commercial officer (effective as of 1 October) in the wake of an “extensive” internal and external recruitment process.
Davis brings over 25 years of experience gained in senior positions across the innovative materials, manufacturing and distribution sectors to the role at Securitas UK, having spent the majority of her career within the multinational Saint-Gobain Group and, latterly, STARK Building Materials UK.
Most recently, Davis served as managing director for Minster Insulation and Drylining and Jewson Civils Frazer and has held Executive Board-level positions for the last 15 years.
As chief commercial officer, Davis will be responsible for leading the company’s commercial strategy across the UK, all the while focusing keenly on continuing to build strong relationships with clients, delivering innovative security solutions and driving business growth.
Davis is known and respected for her ‘people first’ approach, always prioritising colleagues and clients, while in parallel leading with passion and energy.
Commenting on this appointment, Nadine Matthews (Country President at Securitas UK) said: “I’m delighted to welcome Alex to the team as our new chief commercial officer. With her wealth of experience and purpose-driven leadership, I have no doubt she will be a huge asset to Securitas, helping to further the significant progress we are making as we continue to transform our business in the UK.”
In response, Davis stated: “I’m tremendously excited to join Securitas UK and look forward to working with such a passionate and dedicated team. Together, we will continue to deliver exceptional value for our colleagues and clients, while always seeking to build on the great progress already made.”
Securitas employs 341,000 members of staff in 44 markets and creates sustainable value for its clients by protecting what matters most: clients’ people and assets.
