BUILDING ON its strong position in the alarm signalling market, AddSecure (the provider of secure Internet of Things connectivity and end-to-end solutions) has launched its cloud-based push-to-talk (PTT) solutions in the UK. These solutions enable secure, reliable and efficient communications for organisations operating in critical and demanding environments.
The launch broadens AddSecure’s UK offer, bringing enhanced capabilities and greater choice to both new and existing customers operating in critical industries such as security, transportation, public services and field operations.
Stefan Albertsson, CEO of AddSecure, explained: “We’re excited to bring our cloud-based push-to-talk solutions to the UK. With over a decade of experience in secure critical communications across Europe, we deliver reliable and innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support installers and businesses as they modernise alarm systems.”
The PTT launch introduces a complete solution for real-time communication and operational efficiency, trusted by major brands such as Scandinavian Airlines (SAS), Tempest Security and Volvo. AddSecure’s PTT portfolio includes the GroupTalk app, which turns smart phones into two-way radios, PC Dispatch for multi-team co-ordination, emergency alerts, GPS tracking and live video and PTT over cellular radios with PTT accessories for seamless integration.
Immediate alerts
Nicholas Whiting, vice-president of alarm signalling for AddSecure in the UK, stated: “With our new push-to-talk solutions, UK mobile workforces gain secure and real-time group communication. With just one push of a button, end users can instantly reach their teams. When seconds count, the personal alarm ensures colleagues, Control Room operators or Alarm Receiving Centre personnel are immediately alerted.”
AddSecure entered the UK alarm signalling market in June last year to ensure continuity following BT Redcare’s closure and introduced its Next Generation Portfolio of alarm signalling products. Building on the company’s Nordic heritage in telecoms and security, the business has pioneered cloud-based critical communication solutions since the early 2000s.
With the PTT launch, AddSecure continues its mission of making the world a safer and smarter place by delivering secure critical communication solutions to UK customers.
