ADDSECURE – THE European provider of secure Internet of Things connectivity and end-to-end solutions with a special focus on alarm signalling – has announced the official launch of its operations in the UK market. This launch marks a significant milestone for AddSecure as it continues to expand its presence and offer in the industry.
As part of this launch, AddSecure is introducing the Next Generation Portfolio of alarm signalling terminals, a state-of-the-art offer designed to ensure seamless service continuity for BT Redcare customers following BT’s closure announcement. The strategic collaboration with BT facilitates a smooth transition for BT Redcare customers to digital platforms, offering advanced IP-based technology that operates over fibre and 4G mobile networks.
“We’re excited to establish ourselves as a trusted alarm signalling provider in the UK,” said Wim Harthoorn, director of sales for smart alarms at AddSecure. “Our robust and brand new infrastructure, combined with our expertise in the field, will enable us to deliver future-proof solutions that meet the evolving demands of the market.”
Alarm Receiving Centre
A prominent security solutions provider in London and the South East, Banham Security is the first Alarm Receiving Centre to be onboarded to AddSecure’s services.
“Banham is delighted to partner with AddSecure to offer our customers the very best in alarm signalling technology and we’re proud to be the first Alarm Receiving Centre to be migrating from BT Redcare to the AddSecure platform,” said Kevin Spencer, head of product at Banham Security.
Spencer continued: “Our collaboration with AddSecure allows us to continue to enhance the specialised offer our customers have enjoyed for many years through BT Redcare. Thanks to the willingness of the team at AddSecure to accommodate our bespoke needs, the transition has been smooth. We believe this partnership will support our plans to further innovate our electronic product and service offer alongside AddSecure’s next generation technology and services.”
PSTN/ISDN landscape
AddSecure’s Next Generation Portfolio is designed to help customers navigate the upcoming shutdown of PSTN/ISDN and the 2G/3G networks. By replacing legacy platforms with digital ones, AddSecure ensures “long-term and reliable” connectivity. The company’s advanced technology not only guarantees uninterrupted service, but also provides enhanced security features purpose-designed to respond to shifting industry expectations.
Throughout the transition process, AddSecure and BT will prioritise customer service and support. Their joint efforts will ensure “a high-quality experience” for BT Redcare’s existing customers, with minimal disruption during the migration to AddSecure’s Next Generation Portfolio.
“We understand the importance of a smooth transition for our customers,” concluded Harthoorn. “Our dedicated team is committed to providing the necessary expertise and support to ensure a seamless migration process.”
