TINYg signposts Cyber Terrorism and Technical Innovation Conference

Originally scheduled to run on 23 January, the event has now been moved to 26 March to accommodate a larger audience. Running from 10.30 am-3.00 pm at Google UK’s Central Saint Giles Office, 1-13 St Giles High Street, London WC2H 8JB, conference will feature a host of international speakers. It’s free to attend and qualifies for Continuing Professional Development.

David Evans, founder and international chair of TINYg, explained: “TINYg is extremely proud to be partnering with leading security and technology organisations with the aim of supporting the security community in gaining a better understanding of the technology landscape, the direction of travel for innovation and how technology can play an important role in addressing the rising global threats reported around terrorism.”

Evans continued: “While there is no silver bullet or single solution to address the rising threat levels, technology, when deployed correctly, can support operators and businesses in making smart and informed decisions. It can even take a more proactive step with the developments being released, notably so with important advancements around Artificial Intelligence.”

In conclusion, Evans added: “Another crucial consideration is the rising threat of cyber security and what this may mean for the physical security technologies that have been deployed.”

Tickets for this event are non-transferable, Photographic Government ID (eg a driving licence or Passport) will be required.
