TDSi introduces Version 2.6 update of powerful GARDiS software

INTEGRATED ACCESS control solutions developer TDSi has issued the latest update to its powerful, flexible and secure GARDiS access software. Version 2.6 includes new solutions-driven features, among them an integration with the Hanwha Vision platform, in turn bringing a host of CCTV and VMS features to GARDiS, as well as an integration with the Calms visitor management platform for “seamless” visitor registration and verification.

As such, Version 2.6 of GARDiS includes additional reporting features and dedicated integration with the popular Hanwha Vision VMS platform. TDSi is also dedicated to working with software partners such as Calms to expand its integrations into our access control software.”

The GARDiS-Hanwha Vision integration adds several capabilities. It’s now possible to import cameras from the server, Live View is available within GARDiS. There’s event bookmarking, Live View with Site Plan, video verification and playback of recorded video.

Meanwhile, the Calms visitor management integration with GARDiS affords end-to-end visitor management, streamlined online check-in procedures, automatic host notification of visitor attendance, real-time monitoring and reporting of visitor traffic and enhanced site safety/record-keeping.

GARDiS Version 2.6 also includes a number of other enhancements purpose-designed to make it even easier and more flexible to use. There’s additional Suprema reader interface configuration options (Reader Profiles), enhanced badge design options and new reports: access levels (doors), access levels (who?), ACU command failure and occupancy reports.

In addition, validity dates are displayed in the Access Levels tab. There are event filter improvements, plus a better user experience when loading archived events. Automated reports can be set to CSV format. There’s an automated reports update, while visual verification allows for multiple doors.
