SQUIRE LOCKS UK will be presenting its inigma smart wireless access control system at International Security Expo, affording attendees visiting London’s Olympia from 30 September-1 October the chance to witness the system’s capabilities in action by visiting Stand B142.
inigma uses Bluetooth communication to control access to compatible padlocks, all managed through a programmed smart key and dedicated smart phone app. Ideal for facility managers, office owners and anybody who often relies on multiple keys, inigma provides a convenient way in which to manage security from anywhere and at any time.
With the ability to operate multiple locks using the smart key, even from remote locations, inigma offers peace of mind for key holders, who are able to grant and revoke access with the touch of a button from the app or on the desktop application.
Featuring AES 256-bit end-to-end encryption, inigma builds upon Squire’s 245-year reputation of creating highly secure solutions. With Squire having recently achieved a Level 3 BSI Kitemark for Secure Digital Applications, which is the highest ever achieved by any system, the users of inigma can be safe in the knowledge that their sensitive information is protected.
Integration potential
Across the two-day event, visitors will be able to witness the technology in action alongside Squire’s range of compatible padlocks and cylinders.
inigma can be integrated into existing Squire padlocks, such as the Stronghold range, which will also be on display at Olympia.
The Stronghold range represents “the pinnacle of heavy-duty, high-security padlocks”, having been designed for commercial and industrial applications where a robust security solution is required.
Featuring the flagship SS100C, the Stronghold range offers a selection of highly accredited padlocks manufactured from hardwearing materials designed to protect against attack.
Shift in the market
Andy Hudson, product manager for inigma at Squire, explained: “We’re seeing a shift in the market towards convenient smart security, which we’re pleased to offer with inigma. Those in the Critical National Infrastructure space in particular can benefit immensely from deploying inigma. Often, these businesses have remote sub-locations where access can be much trickier. However, with inigma, employees in central locations can manage accessibility, granting and revoking access when required and viewing a full audit trail to ensure that the security of the remote locations isn’t jeopardised.”
Hudson concluded: “We would welcome anyone attending Olympia who’s interested in learning more about how inigma can benefit their business to visit our stand and speak to our experts.”
