STANLEY SECURITY and Securitas’ electronic security operations have now officially joined forces under a new name. Securitas Technology brings together decades of industry expertise and expanded tech-enabled capabilities to deliver Best-in-Class security solutions and service for clients worldwide.
The announcement comes after Securitas’ acquisition of STANLEY Security back in July 2022. Securitas Technology is now “poised to redefine the future” of the industry.
“We’re thrilled to officially launch Securitas Technology and share with clients the tremendous value we bring as a security partner,” explained Securitas Technology’s global president Tony Byerly. “We have three distinct advantages as a global provider: our people, technology and knowledge. I’m incredibly proud of the organisation we’re building together and the rich history and deep industry expertise that help to make us a leader in the market.”
In addition, UK commercial leader Vincent Poty stated: “With Securitas Technology, we are creating something different and unique in electronic security. It reflects our sense of service, technology expertise and capacity for innovation that, taken together, will support our clients in a changing world."
Arthur Agnew, UK head of electronic security, commented: “It’s a hugely exciting time for all involved and we cannot wait to show people the potential Securitas Technology has to assist them as clients, employees and in many other capacities.”
Securitas Technology employs approximately 13,000 members of staff across the globe, including upwards of 5,100 field technicians and over 500 colleagues in the UK.
The company’s customisable solutions – including a full suite of video, access, intruder, fire and integrated systems and services – are designed to adapt and expand in line with organisations’ evolving security needs.
From design and installation through to monitoring and analytics, Securitas Technology has the knowledge, certifications and experience needed to help today’s organisations protect their people, property and assets, connect and integrate their technologies and also optimise their security operations for maximum efficiency.
Tony Byerly continued: “Our purpose to help make the world a safer place remains, and that starts with ensuring clients are at the heart of all we do. As a fully integrated business focused on security technology, we are well-positioned to unlock even more value for our clients, whether they’re local, regional, national or global and have a single site to secure or otherwise need a complex and comprehensive multi-site enterprise security programme.”
