Peter Hawkins joins management team at Eclipse Digital Solutions

“I’m delighted to be joining Eclipse Digital Solutions at what is such a crucial point in the company’s development and am looking forward to helping it become even more successful,” explained Hawkins, who began his new role on 1 July, in conversation with Security Matters.

“I’ve worked in the industry for 35 years now in a wide range of roles from installer and project manager through to divisional operations director,” he continued. “My belief in forging strong working partnerships with clients, understanding and planning for their needs and tailoring the service provided to meet their exact requirements is also how Eclipse Digital Solutions transacts its business so we make for a good fit.”

Based in Essex, Hawkins is now being tasked with expanding Eclipse’s client base in the south of England and promoting the company’s innovative use of cutting-edge security systems technology.

Speaking about the addition of Hawkins to the team, Eclipse Digital Solutions’ managing director Alan Drinkwater explained: “Peter’s appointment will be invaluable for our continued growth and we’re extremely excited to welcome him to the team.”

Eclipse Digital Solutions’ clients include private businesses and public organisations. Recent installation projects for the company have included a groundbreaking C-UAV system at a Critical National Infrastructure site and an extension to a perimeter intrusion detection system at an HMP location.

The company has also fitted a CCTV system for The Escape Restaurant at HMP Wormwood Scrubs, the second opening from TV presenter Fred Sirieix’s The Right Course charity which aims to give prisoners the cooking, service and business skills they need to secure hospitality jobs on their release.
