Paul Lotter appointed chief operating officer in Corps Security realignment

CORPS SECURITY has realigned its senior leadership team around a new integrated operating model. As a result, Paul Lotter is appointed in the role of chief operating officer to lead the change programme.

Underpinning the realignment are Corps Security’s three core divisions: Corps Security (focused on security guarding), Corps Monitoring (remote monitoring) and Corps Intel (intelligence, risk and consultancy), which now come together under one unified operating model. This will ensure customers benefit from complete, 360-degree proactive and reactive security solutions tailored to their businesses, in turn driving efficiency and innovation.

In order to deliver this new approach, Lotter will lead a senior team spanning the breadth of Corps’ operations. Direct reports include divisional directors, the national accounts director, the director of the national Operations Centre, the mobilisation director and the director of Corps Intel. Lotter will provide strategic and operational leadership across the business, working closely with operational teams to drive seamless co-ordination and continuous improvement.

Complementing this integrated model is the Innovation and Technology Services division, led by Andrea Strong (Group director of Technology and Innovation). Strong will work closely with Lotter and the senior operational teams to ensure that emerging technologies – including drones, robotics and Artificial Intelligence analytics – are embedded in Corps’ operational model.

Significant experience

Lotter has over 30 years’ worth of experience in the security sector. He first joined Corps Security in 2018 as regional operations director before becoming managing director in 2019, whereupon he played a central role in implementing new business development, compliance policies and technology programmes. Prior to joining Corps Security, Lotter held senior roles at Securitas and Interserve.

On his appointment and the structural realignment, Lotter stated: “It’s an honour to step into this role at such a transformational moment for the business. By bringing our capabilities together under one coherent model, we can draw on our expertise in security guarding, technology, intelligence and innovation to provide a tailored solution for each client. I’m looking forward to supporting colleagues and the wider leadership team as we build this model together.”

Mike Bullock, CEO of Corps Security, explained: “Since joining Corps Security, Paul has contributed enormously to the direction of this business. His appointment as chief operating officer is a recognition of that contribution and of his deep understanding of our long-term vision. As we move into this next chapter, Paul’s operational leadership will be central to the delivery of our integrated model for the customer base.”
