OSPAs renews collaboration with NSI for Thought Leadership Summit

WORLD EXCELLENCE Awards – the organisation behind the Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) – has announced the renewal of its collaboration with the National Security Inspectorate (NSI) for the sixth UK OSPAs Thought Leadership Summit, which is taking place on 22 February 2024 at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in central London.

The popular OSPAs Thought Leadership Summit realises an “unparalleled opportunity” for security providers and industry stakeholders to gather together and delve into, question and deliberate the topical issues impacting the UK’s security sector. The event creates an environment that promotes the sharing of Best Practice among attendees and fosters co-operation.

Reflecting on the success of previous Summits, it’s clearly evident senior leaders highly value this platform. Connecting with peers and industry stakeholders, they engage in debate and participation through the interactive Q&A sessions that involve speakers on the day.

The full agenda will be announced over the coming months. In the meantime, security organisations and industry stakeholders alike are encouraged to save the date in their calendars.

Engagement in discussion

Richard Fogelman, CEO at the NSI, has shared his perspective on the OSPAs Thought Leadership Summit. “Having experienced last year’s Summit just before I formally joined the NSI,” observed Fogelman, “I was struck by the audience’s keen engagement in discussions. Witnessing constructive dialogue on challenges ahead and the open exchange of Best Practice underscored the industry’s dedication to what is a vitally important cause.”

Fogelman continued: “The NSI is delighted to continue its collaboration with the OSPAs team and collectively develop a compelling programme wholly focused on subjects that resonate with the forward thinkers in the industry. We very much look forward to another insightful event.”

Platform for debate

Professor Martin Gill CSyP FSyI, founder of the OSPAs, noted: “The OSPAs Thought Leadership Summit has established itself as an event not to be missed within the security calendar. It once again promises to deliver hot topics to inspire thinking, while also providing a platform for debate and an opportunity to challenge matters impacting all those working in the sector.”

Gill concluded: “We are delighted to be working in collaboration with the NSI to bring you the next edition of the Summit and we urge all interested parties to save the date in their diaries.”
