ELECTRONIC SECURITY integration innovator Eclipse Digital Solutions has achieved ISO 27001:2017 certification, thereby confirming the company’s ongoing commitment to keeping customers’ data safe.
The certification, which is in addition to others currently held by the company (including ISO 9001:2015 and Cyber Essentials), was gained following a rigorous audit conducted by an independent UKAS certification body.
As Eclipse Digital Solutions handles customer data and Intellectual Property on a daily basis, it’s imperative that clients have confidence in the company’s information processes.
Alan Drinkwater, managing director at Eclipse Digital Solutions, said: “Everyone at the business takes security as a personal responsibility and is dedicated to upholding the trust of our valued clients across the UK. Gaining ISO 27001 certification will reassure customers that we follow Best Practice when it comes to the security of any kind of digital information.”

Eclipse Digital Solutions’ standards manager Maya Bull explained that ISO 27001 is designed to help organisations implement, operate, monitor, maintain and improve their information security management system.
Daren Wood, the company’s head of sales and marketing, added: “We have a duty to constantly review the way in which we operate. Gaining ISO 27001 is an example of how we’re continually striving to keep client information safe.”
Wood continued: “Our clients operating across a wide range of sectors have always been able to trust the bespoke, innovative and cost-effective systems we deliver. This latest certification is testament to the fact that we place them at the very heart of our business.”
