Hanwha Vision introduces SP-A8016 ‘all-in-one’ security solution

HANWHA VISION is building upon its proven Audio Beacon platform with the introduction of the SPS-A8016: an ‘all-in-one’ indoor security solution designed to combine intelligent surveillance, audio communication and visual alerting in a single compact device.

By integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered video analytics, proactive audio messaging and multi-colour visual notifications into one platform, the ‘all-in-one’ camera helps to reduce installation complexity, while also minimising hardware requirements and streamlining deployments across a wide range of indoor environments.

The SPS-A8016 combines a 5 MP AI-powered camera, a powerful 90 dB speaker, beamforming microphones and a multi-colour RGB LED ring to deliver proactive situational awareness and responsive security operations.

From schools and banks through to retail environments and healthcare facilities, the ‘all-in-one’ camera delivers complete situational awareness through a single device. It enables immediate detection and response – whether through real-time video analytics, high-volume audio alerts, full-duplex two-way communication or LED notifications – in turn supporting rapid decision-making and direct interaction with on-site individuals.

Wisenet 9 SoC

At the core of the camera is Hanwha Vision’s Wisenet 9 SoC, powered by a dual NPU architecture that ensures video quality and AI analytics operate on independent resources so neither function impacts the other.

The 5 MP sensor delivers sharp and detailed footage with AI-based image enhancement, extremeWDR (120 dB) for challenging backlight conditions and WiseStream AI-driven bandwidth reduction. Object classification natively detects and categorises people, faces, vehicles and licence plates, with detailed attribute metadata and ‘BestShot’ images for powerful forensic search.

Beyond video, the device features built-in business intelligence analytics (including people counting, crowd counting, queue management and heat mapping) to provide actionable operational insights without additional hardware or licenses. AI-based analytics also support slip-and-fall detection, loitering, line crossing and virtual area monitoring, thereby enabling proactive safety responses in real-time.

Built-in microphones

The three built-in MEMS microphones (ie two beamforming mics for noise reduction and one extreme decibel mic) work alongside the 90 dB speaker to deliver clear, full-duplex two-way audio communication with echo cancellation.

SIP 2.0 support enables direct integration with VoIP/PBX phone systems, allowing operators to respond to events from anywhere. The LED ring enhances visibility of alerts in any lighting condition, offering customisable colours and sequential flashing patterns to signal different types of events, duly functioning as both a deterrent and a notification mechanism.

Additionally, the camera incorporates AI-based sound classification to detect specific sounds (such as screams, breaking glass, aggression, tire screeches, vehicle horns and extreme decibel levels) using deep learning.

The new camera supports full integration with major VMS platforms including Genetec, Milestone, Wisenet WAVE and BLAZE. It supports complex Boolean event logic and delivers alerts via speaker, LED, alarm output, FTP, SFTP, e-mail, HTTP/HTTPS/TCP and MQTT.

With a ‘Secure Element’ certified to FIPS 140-3 Level 3 and CC EAL6+, EN 303 645 Internet of Things cyber security certification, secure boot, signed firmware and a built-in case tamper switch with IK08 impact protection, the device ensures maximum data protection and physical security.
