GALLIFORD TRY Asset Intelligence – the provider of integrated security and fire safety solutions focusing on protecting Critical National Infrastructure and high-value assets across the UK – has been named as a Platinum Sponsor of Skills for Security and will now begin onboarding its engineering workforce to the Skills On Demand training platform.
The collaboration reflects a shared focus on strengthening technical capability across the security and infrastructure sectors. It’s going to support engineers at different stages of their careers, while helping organisations maintain the skills required to deliver complex projects and services.
As a result of the partnership, Galliford Try Asset Intelligence will use Skills On Demand to provide structured learning opportunities for its engineering teams alongside continued support for apprenticeships and early-career development within the business.
Ben McNally, sector director at Galliford Try Asset Intelligence, stated: “We’re delighted to partner with Skills for Security. Developing the next generation of technical talent is essential to the future of our industry and our own Sustainable Growth Strategy. This partnership strengthens our commitment to providing high-quality training and apprenticeship opportunities across Galliford Try Asset Intelligence.”
Further, McNally observed: “By investing in our people, we’re investing in the long-term capability, innovation and resilience of the services we deliver for our clients. We look forward to working closely with Skills for Security to create meaningful pathways into our sector and to support the growth of skilled and confident engineers for many years to come.”
Supporting professional development
Skills for Security’s sponsorship programme brings together organisations from across the sector that share an interest in supporting professional development, apprenticeships and accessible training pathways for engineers entering or otherwise progressing within the industry.
David Scott, managing director at Skills for Security, commented: “We’re pleased to welcome Galliford Try Asset Intelligence as a Platinum Sponsor and to support the development of its engineering workforce through Skills On Demand. As organisations continue to adapt to changing technologies and increasing project complexity, ongoing training and access to relevant learning resources are becoming an essential element of maintaining strong engineering teams.”
Scott concluded: “Working with such partners allows us to support this process and help to ensure engineers across the sector have opportunities to continue developing their skills throughout their careers.”
