Gallagher steps up European market expansion at The Security Event 2026

In fact, the launch of AccessNow heralds the next chapter in Gallagher’s European growth story following a sustained period of regional investment.

Across the three days in Birmingham, the Gallagher Security team members present drew strong interest from partners and customers. Visitors engaged directly with Gallagher’s experts, executive leadership and technology partners. Live demonstrations across the solution pods showcased real‑world applications involving physical perimeter security and cloud‑native platforms.

Spencer Marshall (executive vice-president for Europe at Gallagher Security) observed: “The Security Event has always been a critical indicator of market momentum. This year’s show served to reinforce Gallagher’s trajectory. The atmosphere on Stand F90 in Hall 5 surpassed every expectation, while the presence of our global executive team sent a clear message about where Gallagher is heading. The energy spoke for itself.”

Automating the process

AccessNow was the centrepiece of Gallagher’s product presence at The Security Event. The platform tackles one of the most common pain points facing security teams today: the time and resource consumed by having to manually manage access requests, approvals and provisioning. By automating that process end-to-end and affording cardholders a ‘self-serve’ experience, AccessNow frees security professionals to focus on what matters most.

Reflecting on Gallagher’s commitment to the European market, CEO Mark Junge attended The Security Event for the first time alongside senior colleagues from across the business, including chief marketing officer Merv Williams, Linda McConnell (head of product marketing) and senior product manager Kate Sobolewska.

Junge stated: “Walking the stand at The Security Event and hearing the quality of conversations our team members were having with partners and end users was genuinely energising. The depth of interest, particularly so around AccessNow, OneLink and our collaboration with Kenai, confirmed to me that our European growth focus is in good shape. The relationships, the trust and the momentum are palpable.”

Growing momentum

The Security Event 2026 was further proof of Gallagher’s growing European momentum. With AccessNow launched in the region, a partner and end user community energised by what’s ahead and a deepening presence in the Nordics and Benelux territories now in motion, Gallagher Security left Birmingham with strong foundations laid for the second half of the year.
