First Response Group appoints Dannii Wood-Wright as Group HR director

Wood-Wright’s career has rapidly accelerated from HR assistant to HR director: a success story attributed to her broad experience at the heart of fast-growing organisations amid challenging economic times.

Wood-Wright’s legal background has stood her in good stead, with plenty of transferable skills and her years spent in world-class manufacturing set-ups affording her a passion for blue-collar industries.

Commenting on her appointment, Wood-Wright stated: “Over the years, I have been involved in all elements of HR from recruitment to restructuring, but it’s the people on the ground who I am particularly passionate about.”

Strategic people strategy

Wood-Wright will head up First Response Group’s strategic people strategy and support the Board of Directors in its five-year plan. Initiatives she will work on include the creation of a fully defined accountability model, the development of First Response Group’s induction programme for new joiners, a full end-to-end people and talent management framework and a revamped reward and recognition framework, all supported by a highly capable and skilled management and leadership team.

The appointment of Dannii Wood-Wright follows the hire of security industry leader Barry Dawson as Group managing director, underscoring the company’s commitment to building a dynamic and visionary leadership team.

Shaping the future
