Commenting on the finalists, Professor Martin Gill CSyP FSyI (founder of the OSPAs) said: “We’ve been overwhelmed by the sheer number and quality of the entries that we’ve received. The security sector has truly embraced the OSPAs. It’s really inspirational to see so many individuals and businesses wanting to be recognised for the significant role they play in securing the nation.”
Professor Gill added: “I would like to thank the 40 independent judges, and the security associations they represent – for reviewing and scoring the many nominations. Indeed, the supporting organisations and sponsors who value our aims and support our ethics also deserve a special vote of thanks. On that note, we’re delighted to announce AXON as our new Headline Sponsor.”
In conclusion, Professor Gill noted: “We are looking forward to welcoming everyone at the Royal Lancaster Hotel on Thursday 22 February to recognise and celebrate outstanding achievements.”
