Comelit-PAC unveils future of integrated security and fire safety at the NEC

COMELIT-PAC is exhibiting at The Security Event 2024 and, in the process, will be launching a host of innovative new products, including integrated biometric access control and CCTV, video door entry and fire safety systems.

Resident on Stand F60 in Hall 5 at the NEC in Birmingham from 30 April-2 May, Comelit-PAC will debut its brand new video monitors. These are designed to enable installers to install or otherwise upgrade door entry systems quickly and efficiently using NFC communications and the MyComelit app.

Visitors to the Nineteen Group-organised show will also be among the first to experience Housing Central, a cloud-based platform designed as a secure and user-friendly way in which to manage door entry and access control.

Included on Stand F60 will be a first glimpse of the impressive integration between Idemia and PAC to present the latest access control technology with biometric and facial recognition capability.

In the fire safety space, Comelit-PAC will be unveiling new additions to its hugely successful LogiFire addressable fire safety system, including a wireless detection series designed to accommodate the evolving needs and priorities of all building types.

Founding Partner

Francesca Boeris, managing director at Comelit-PAC, noted: “As The Security Event continues to grow in stature and prominence, we remain proud of our Founding Partner status and continue to support the show as a chance to come together and launch our very latest innovations in security and fire safety.”

Boeris continued: “We are particularly excited to present our new video monitors together with our ever-evolving integration capabilities, ensuring that we’re working with leading manufacturers, including Idemia, to bring the latest security technology to our customers.”

Further, Boeris stated: “In terms of Housing Central, we are demonstrating our expertise with cloud-based platforms. Our wireless fire safety offer shows how we have an opportunity to support complete requirements across every sector and building development.”

Live demos

Comelit-PAC will be showing live demonstrations of its integration between PAC and Comelit CCTV systems, highlighting the seamless interoperability and advanced features that enhance security and surveillance functionalities. Visitors can witness optimised monitoring capabilities, streamlined operations and comprehensive protection for diverse environments.

FIRE2VIP systems will be on display. These were developed to integrate fire safety systems with IP door entry and provide early notification of an evacuation event via the door entry monitor and push notification.

Members of the Comelit-PAC team will be on hand to present the MyComelit app that enables end users to check the status of their Comelit security and fire products on a remote basis, making sure they’re always connected and fully operational. Event notifications can be sent via e-mail and/or SMS messaging.

Networking experience

In conclusion, Francesca Boeris informed Security Matters: “As a team, we are very much looking forward to The Security Event. While we will indeed be launching an array of exciting technologies in the security and fire safety domains, our real focus is about creating a relaxing and networking experience on our stand. We want to embrace the chance to welcome guests and discuss bespoke project requirements, as well as create opportunities for meaningful connections and conversations that shape the future of our industry.”
