CLD PHYSICAL Security Systems, the provider of on-ground and in-ground security solutions, recently hosted a Building Research Establishment (BRE) Attack Testing Day, during which the company showcased the strength and durability of its security systems under extreme testing conditions.
The BRE, of course, is a globally recognised authority that specialises in testing, certifying and assessing the performance and safety of building products and systems. Through its comprehensive certification programmes, the BRE helps manufacturers, designers and building professionals alike to understand the effectiveness of their products.
The event witnessed several of CLD’s security solutions – among them the Securus, Screenogril and FenceSafe ranges – subjected to rigorous testing procedures that simulated high-intensity scenarios, thereby demonstrating these solutions’ effectiveness and durability.
The demonstration showcased the principles of Loss Prevention Standard 1175 Issue 8, highlighting various attack levels in order to illustrate the standard and showing compliant solutions in action.
Industry experts
The event brought together industry experts, security professionals and key stakeholders, offering a unique opportunity to witness live demonstrations of CLD’s catalogue being put to the test against real-world threats, as well as offering insights into the physical security industry.
Roger Knight, head of new product development at CLD, said: “With the constant evolution of security, it’s essential that our solutions are thoroughly tested under these conditions, not only to highlight the strength and resilience of our products, but also to offer peace of mind for our customers.”
Knight added: “Hosting the event and gathering together some of our key customers for networking and knowledge sharing was an extremely beneficial exercise. Indeed, we received excellent feedback and have plans to organise similar events in the future.”
