BSIA signs exclusive partnership agreement with Nineteen Group

THE BRITISH Security Industry Association (BSIA) has signed an exclusive partnership agreement with the Nineteen Group and, as a result, will be participating in the latter’s security-related events during 2024. The first step in this collaboration will be participation in The Security Event, which is being held at the NEC in Birmingham from 30 April-2 May.

The Security Event – for which Security Matters is once again serving as Lead Media Partner – showcases the world’s leading security brands, offering attendees the opportunity to both witness and source the latest products, technologies and solutions, while also being able to network and meet face-to-face with key experts from across the industry.

For its part, the BSIA continues to be positioned at the forefront of developing and supporting the professional security sector, with the aim of continually evolving and imparting industry knowledge and information for members.

Mike Reddington, CEO at the BSIA, explained: “We are very excited to be involved in The Security Event. As the leading Trade Association for the professional security industry, we feel that we are positively aligned with the show’s remit as an exhibition: ‘designed by the industry, for the industry’. We will be able to meet with a broader range of members and potential members alike and discuss membership value.”

Reddington went on to comment: “The Security Event is fast becoming the go-to event in the security industry’s calendar and we feel strongly that our participation from 2024 onwards is a perfect fit in terms of helping to elevate and assist our members further on the national stage.”

Tristan Norman, Group director at Nineteen Group, responded: “We are delighted to announce our partnership with the BSIA across the Nineteen Group’s portfolio of events. This collaboration marks an exciting milestone, enhancing the value proposition for both our own series of events and the BSIA’s members alike.”

Norman concluded: “As we look ahead, we anticipate a security sector in the UK that’s going to become even stronger, more innovative and resilient. A business sector poised to sustain growth and set global standards.”
