BSIA recognises UK security officers for “keeping people and property safe”

THE BRITISH Security Industry Association (BSIA) has announced the 2022 regional winners of its annual security personnel categories, which are part of the Trade Association’s British Security Awards. The security personnel categories are designed to recognise security officers across the UK for their commitment to keeping people and property safe.

For over 20 years now, the security personnel-centric categories – which are sponsored by Camberford Underwriting – have recognised the talent, dedication, skill and bravery exhibited by security personnel in their roles. In 2022, the five standard categories (ie Best Newcomer, Best Team, Outstanding Act, Service to the Customer and Security Manager of the Year) have witnessed a record number of entries.

All of the regional winners will now go forward as national finalists, with the British Security Awards taking place at the London Marriott Hotel on Grosvenor Square on Wednesday 29 June.

Mike Reddington, CEO at the BSIA, commented: “Each year through the British Security Awards, it’s very much our honour to be able to recognise the work of security officers across the UK for their role in keeping people and property safe. This year’s regional winners should be immensely proud of their achievements, and we wish them the very best of luck as they now go forward to the national finals of the British Security Awards.”
