Banham Security moves to acquire Swindon-based Tops Security

Founded back in 1926, Banham remains the largest provider of home security systems in London and the South East of England. The British, family-run business, which is currently looked after by the fourth generation of the Banham family, has witnessed significant year-on-year growth for almost a century in operation.

Banham’s streak of acquisitions has continued since its secured Willenhall-based manufacturer Guardian Locks last year. The business has been expanding its reach outside of London and the South East of England for several years now, providing security to aspirational residential towns in the West Country such as Bristol and Bath. This renders the acquisition of Tops Security a natural fit for the company.

With Banham now having a local presence in Swindon, this will allow the organisation to further its reach, duly providing homeowners and businesses with access to its locks and alarms as well as bespoke integrated security solutions throughout the West Country.
