Axis Academy celebrates year of success

In its first 12 months the Axis Academy has delivered a total of 122 courses, training 512 delegates. Head of learning and development Duaine Taylor, says the open day is an excellent opportunity to showcase the benefits of the academy and its courses.

“While the focus in our first year has been on security and health and safety-based learning, attendees will see that we also have courses that cover management skills, presentation skills and customer service focused training.”

Accreditations achieved over the last year include Qualsafe Awards, Highfield Qualifications, Worldhost and Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).

“Our first year has surpassed our expectations,” adds Duaine. “Not only are we delivering quality training to our teams of security, cleaning and front of house employees, but also we welcome a number of external clients including MJ Mapp, CBRE and Hallfield School.
