ATG ACCESS is set to showcase its suite of hostile vehicle mitigation and security bollard solutions at the International Security Expo in London, with working demonstrations of its flagship automatic bollards taking place at Olympia on 30 September-1 October.
The Merseyside-based manufacturer will be resident on Stand D70, where visitors will be able to witness two full-sized working automatic bollards – the SP400 Automatic 80 and the SP400 TT Automatic Bollard – in action. Alongside these products, the company will use 3D printed models of its shallow-mount range to illustrate how different levels of protection can be deployed discreetly across a single site.
The core range has been developed as a complete suite of security bollards for a wide range of applications, designed to complement one another through their consistent diameter and surface appearance. This allows sites to be secured to varying levels of protection without the ‘mismatched’ look that can result from using products of differing design.
Importantly, ATG Access will also be taking part in the conference programme. Robert Ball, the company’s engineering director, will join a fireside chat on hostile vehicle attack trends and the challenges they present on 30 September at 1.15 pm as part of the Global Counter Terror and Security Summit.
On the following day, Ball will deliver a presentation on ‘Designing Safer Public Spaces: A Practical Guide to Hostile Vehicle Mitigation’. That presentation begins at 1.30 pm.
International markets
Lucy Ketley, sales and marketing director at ATG Access, will also contribute to a panel discussion on the subject of breaking into international markets. This takes place at 10.35 am on 1 October as part of the International Security and Resilience Conference.
Richard Ellis, managing director at ATG Access, commented: “International Security Expo is a vital meeting place for the global security community and the ideal platform for us to demonstrate both the strength of our core range and the breadth of our wider solutions.”
Ellis concluded: “Our products afford specifiers and architects the freedom to balance security and aesthetics across a given site. At the same time, our wider portfolio and bespoke engineering services mean that we can deliver tailored solutions for even the most complex environments. Ultimately, our goal is to help create public spaces that are as secure as they are welcoming.”
