Alaster Purchase appointed chief operating officer at NSI

THE NATIONAL Security Inspectorate (NSI) has announced the appointment of Alaster Purchase as the Maidenhead-based organisation’s new chief operating officer. Purchase is a former chief operating officer for GS1 UK and has also served as corporate marketing director for a Panasonic business.

Bringing over 30 years of experience in the software and services industry to the NSI, and having already spearheaded highly successful growth and transformation strategies to date, Purchase commented: “I’m delighted to join the team at the NSI and consider it an honour to work with such talented people and a brand that’s unsurpassed in the industry.”

Richard Fogelman, CEO at the NSI, stated: “I’m very excited to welcome Alaster to our senior management team. His appointment underscores our continued commitment to uphold the ‘gold standard’ in security and fire safety certification.”

The NSI, of course, counts premium local providers as well as the UK’s premier national security and fire safety providers among its clients. The organisation delivers a robust and continuous audit regime of approved companies through a dedicated team of in-house experts to verify compliance with relevant British and European Standards, Codes of Practice and certification schemes developed by industry bodies and associations.

Buyers who choose to contract work with NSI approved companies can be assured of security and fire safety services delivered to the highest standards by businesses wholly committed to quality and continual improvement.
