3xLOGIC – THE specialist provider of security hardware, software and cloud-based solutions that drive business intelligence – will be exhibiting at The Security Event. On Stand J60 in Hall 4, visitors making their way to the NEC from 25-27 April will be able to learn more about the company’s comprehensive range of products, systems and services.
“The last 12 months have witnessed considerable development activity for 3xLOGIC,” commented Richard Joslin, senior director of global sales. “We will use The Security Event to showcase our latest innovations.”
Building on the success of its world-class hardware range, 3xLOGIC’s new X-Series edge-based deep learning analytics cameras will be taking centre stage. The initial phase release of select cameras will have far-reaching applications within 3xLOGIC’s VIGIL and VIGIL CLOUD suite of video management products and provide deep learning-based advanced object tracking analytics.
These new cameras analyse movements and behaviours and use predictive analysis to track each object constantly. People-centric and vehicle-related events can be filtered such that only important activations are acted upon. This is particularly effective in dense and complex scenes involving applications for perimeter protection, person, object and vehicle detection and notifications, in addition to business intelligence use cases for advanced dwell time and people counting.
3xLOGIC’s popular VIGIL CLOUD solution is going to be highlighted. This solution delivers a truly holistic view of the entire secured premises. 3xLOGIC has further expanded its functionality with the implementation of the aforementioned edge-based deep learning analytics. This sets the groundwork for further development and positions VIGIL CLOUD as a driving force for reliable security infrastructures.
Person and vehicle detection capabilities have been integrated to refine the analytics of the motion zone such that it only notifies when a person or vehicle is present, greatly reducing the number of notifications and false alarms, while also allowing users to focus only on what’s important.
VIGIL CLOUD includes multi-camera, multi-view functionality whereby end users can select up to six cameras to view live feeds simultaneously with the option of viewing multiple locations as well. It’s now possible to manage and share cases externally with co-operating agencies (including law enforcement). Users can share video clips and all case comments with multiple e-mail addresses. To ensure a full audit trail, a notification will be sent to the system administrator indicating that a case has been shared externally.
Two versions of VIGIL 12.5
3xLOGIC has also been working hard to augment the Best-in-Class features and functionality found in the VIGIL Video Management System and is set to introduce two versions of VIGIL 12.5. Alongside the traditional Windows-based option, VIGIL 12.5 Linux OS provides a lower cost solution and is based on the Linux Debian 11 OS.
VIGIL 12.5 offers full remote server settings via the new platform agnostic VIGIL Server Management Utility and VIGIL Client. Also included are enhanced PTZ controls that allow the user to focus on an object or individual by simply drawing a box around them/it, as well as ONVIF Profile M support for analytics metadata.
Further, an enhanced network camera user experience simplifies camera onboarding and fully remote configuration, while the VIGIL CLOUD plug-in for video streaming, retention and case management is also built into the overall solution.
Visitors to the NEC will also have the chance to witness 3xLOGIC’s new NVR-1U-8CH w/Linux OS NVR along with the VX-VT-56-DUAL-X dual thermal/visible light imager – a state-of-the-art 5 MP outdoor camera featuring an integrated 56-degree thermal imager.
“It’s a tremendously exciting period for us and we’re looking forward to discussions we’ll have with visitors attending The Security Event,” continued Richard Joslin, “Attendees can speak to our team of experts and discover the many advantages of working with us.”
