The Kingdom Group appoints Lord Peter Hain in business advisor role

Lord Peter Hain brings decades of experience at the highest levels of public service, having held senior ministerial posts for 12 years in Tony Blair and Gordon Brown’s Governments. Previously, Lord Hain served as the Secretary of State for Wales, the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions and also as Leader of the Commons.

Lord Hain has chaired the UN Security Council and served as the Labour MP for Neath for 24 years. He has been a member of the House of Lords since 2015.

In his new role, Lord Hain will advise on long-term strategy, social value and community impact, drawing on his wealth of extensive political, governance and non-executive experience. In addition to his extensive political expertise, this includes various non-executive director roles.

Invaluable insight
