THE KEY Safe Company has been honoured with a King’s Award for Enterprise. Indeed, The Key Safe Company is one of only 185 organisations nationally to be recognised in this way in 2026, with the accolade acknowledging the company’s outstanding achievements in innovation.
Employing 27 members of staff, The Key Safe Company was founded in 1996 and, since then, has been delivering reliable access solutions. As such, the business delivers peace of mind at private and commercial properties alike by realising the very best level of protection.
The company’s latest multi-push key safe, the ark Tamo, boasts the highest level of security accreditation and is supplied around the world.
David Ogden, founder and CEO at The Key Safe Company, informed Security Matters: “We are delighted to receive a 2026 King’s Award for Enterprise in the category of innovation, which recognises our ark Tamo solution. This achievement reflects 30 years of dedication and commitment from our staff, both past and present, who’ve continually delivered the very best key safes and access control solutions. The King’s Award is a tremendous honour and we congratulate all of this year’s other winners.”
Honouring the legacy
Previously known, of course, as The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, the King’s Awards for Enterprise reflect His Majesty The King’s continued commitment to honouring the legacy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in celebrating exceptional UK businesses.
Now in its 60th year, the King’s Awards for Enterprise remain the UK’s most prestigious business accolades. Successful organisations may use the esteemed King’s Awards Emblem for the next five years, signalling excellence to customers, partners and global markets alike.
Applications for the 2027 round opened on 6 May. Further information is available online at www.gov.uk/kings-awards-for-enterprise
