SYNECTICS SECURITY, itself one of the largest security systems integrators operating in the UK and Ireland, is rebranding under the name Ocular Integration and forging ahead with a new leadership team.
The rebrand reflects the company’s independence and visionary focus on delivering the latest technical solutions and innovations to customers in the Government, high-security, public space, heritage, transport, custodial services, utilities and other critical infrastructure sectors.
Chris Jepson has been appointed managing director of Ocular Integration. Bringing a ‘hands-on’ background in security technology engineering, and over two decades’ industry experience to the role, Jepson is ready to lead Ocular Integration into what he believes is an exciting new era for the business.
“The security market in the UK and Ireland is experiencing significant growth,” affirmed Jepson. “It’s also changing at pace. The physical and cyber risks facing the sectors we serve are increasingly sophisticated. It follows that the solutions required to tackle them must be equally sophisticated. At Ocular, we have both a keen vision and the ability to help customers navigate this changing landscape.”
Jepson continued: “We have a vast network of technology partners and decades of technical and project management experience to hand, all of which means that, whether an organisation needs the latest in Artificial Intelligence-based analytics, the ability to leverage cloud-based surveillance for real-time security oversight and incident management or advice on updating and unifying existing technologies – from intrusion detection and access control through to security barriers – we will always focus on what matters to deliver solutions perfectly tailored for specific needs and budgets.”
Nottingham headquarters
The company will continue to operate from its Nottingham headquarters, building on the highly experienced team and 45-year heritage established under the Quadrant Security Group and Synectics Security brands.
Joining Jepson in the senior management team are Colin Butlin (operations director), Mark Pennington (commercial and technical director), Nicola Kolasa (finance director) and Louise Wilks (Human Resources business partner).
Jepson concluded: “Ocular Integration isn’t just a new name for us. It’s a rebrand that symbolises our unwavering dedication to a vigilant and forward-thinking approach towards security. It also epitomises our goal of delivering precise and reliable solutions that our customers can absolutely depend, both now and well into the future.”
