Security technology consortium ARC Detection Group launches in Scotland

ARC Detection Group will operate as a major re-seller of leading electromagnetic metal detectors manufacturer CEIA’s walk-through metal detectors, scanning systems and advanced Opengate threat detection technologies for larger venues.

The consortium comprises highly experienced Scottish security professionals who’ve worked across major events, policing liaison, military‑linked environments and international venues.

Live demonstrations 

The Bishopbriggs-based Group’s showroom is set to host live demonstrations and product showcases, including for its multi-entry scanners capable of recognising ballistic and explosive materials.

Mark Ward added: “Our ability to supply scanners and experienced staff within tight timescales and on competitive rental terms makes our offer highly attractive.”

ARC Detection Group will support a wide range of sectors including entertainment venues, arenas, night‑time economy businesses, museums, major manufacturers, ports and marinas, corporate event agencies and Scottish local authority premises. The Group will work closely with venue management teams to help them understand the new requirements, provide world-leading screening systems and support compliance planning across Scotland.
