OCS announces “ambitious plan” to double revenues in five-year period

OCS UK and Ireland – itself a prominent player in the facilities services industry and a specialist security solutions provider – has unveiled an “ambitious plan” to double its revenues over the next five years, in turn positioning the business as a “leading force” in the global FM market. This strategic move is marked by the launch of OCS’ new brand vision and strategy, which is “tailored to meet the dynamic needs” of outsourced services in the business world.

The five ‘best’ pillars are central to this strategy in terms of delivering the best experiences, productivity, practices, resilience and outcomes for customers, colleagues and communities.

OCS UK and Ireland aims to meet and exceed evolving customer expectations by focusing on technology, enhancing customers' productivity and continuing to lead on best practices for safety, efficiency and performance.

Mergers and acquisitions further bolster OCS UK and Ireland’s growth, deliver enhanced service quality across all sectors and improve procurement and compliance processes, in turn leading to integrated and high-quality facility management solutions.

Developed in collaboration with industry leaders and OCS’ senior leadership team, the aforementioned five ‘best’ pillars address the macro challenges in the industries served by the company, among them technology integration, sustainability, environmental compliance and talent management.

Ultimately, customer priorities are evaluated and bespoke solutions then developed to tackle complex challenges.

This brand vision is a progression from OCS’ merger with Atalian Servest’s UK, Ireland and Asia operations in March last year, an occurrence creating one of the largest international facilities service providers. This merger has expanded OCS’ capacity to offer a broader range of services and expertise, thereby adding value for customers, partners, colleagues and communities.

Environmental, Social and Governance

Emphasising its ‘evidenced action’ approach towards the attainment of Environmental, Social and Governance goals, OCS aligns its operations with global initiatives including the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. This alignment reflects OCS’ dedication to operating consistently in tandem with its inherent values.

Underpinned by upwards of 50,000 colleagues in the UK and Ireland and a global workforce exceeding 120,000, OCS plans to “outpace” its competitors by leveraging emerging Artificial Intelligence technology and innovation in learning and development. This approach supports OCS’ Net Zero 2040 strategy and the organisation’s continual focus on creating positive change.

Daniel Dickson, CEO for the UK and Ireland at OCS, informed Security Matters: “Launching our new brand and vision is a pivotal moment for OCS. With a rich 124-year history, we’ve proven to constantly evolve in order to provide exceptional customer service and maintain our competitive edge.”

Dickson continued: “Our role as a provider of critical services across multiple sectors requires us to align perfectly with our customers’ service needs and objectives. Being Best-in-Class in facilities management and making people and places the best they can be is about being a trusted partner for our customers and, in parallel, adding measurable outcomes for their operations.”

In the UK and Ireland, OCS boasts an annual turnover of circa £1.7 billion.
