Michael Kill appointed chair of International Professional Security Association

CEO of the Night-Time Industries Association (NTIA), Kill brings decades’ worth of leadership experience spanning the independent, corporate and public sectors. During his career, he has held senior positions with Luminar Leisure, The Drinks Group and the University of East Anglia, duly establishing a reputation as one of the UK’s most influential voices when it comes to the night-time economy.

A tireless advocate for industry operators, venues and creatives, Kill has consistently championed policies that support a safer, more sustainable and commercially resilient night-time economy.

His extensive experience in industry engagement, public policy and stakeholder collaboration will play a key role in strengthening IPSA’s commitment to driving innovation, raising professional standards and securing greater recognition for the security profession.

Kill is widely recognised for his work representing the night-time economy, regularly engaging with Government ministers, policymakers and Parliamentary Select Committees on issues relating to regulation, public safety, licensing and economic sustainability. He also serves as chair of the UK Door Security Association, reinforcing his longstanding commitment to improving standards, professionalism and safety across the licensed security sector.

He succeeds David Fullerton of the Fullerton Group, who stepped down from the position earlier this month following his dedicated service to the Association.

Defenders of public safety
