Kings Secure Technologies moves to acquire Quidvis Ltd

KINGS SECURE Technologies has moved to complete the acquisition of fire risk assessment and risk management reporting specialist Quidvis Ltd. Industry disruptor Quidvis has “revolutionised” the way in which fire risk assessments and fire door inspections are conducted and reported.

Providing property owners with a comprehensive method for managing the fire risk process in their business, the Quidvis solution affords the former the ability to review their risks across their entire estate, allocate work internally or externally and also record any works conducted and the budgets allocated.

In addition, property owners can upload certificates, work orders and policies covering all aspects of managing fire risk in their business. This allows Quidvis Ltd to provide their clients with the complete ‘golden thread’ of fire risk management for every property in their estate.

The business combines a national network of specialist fire risk assessors and fire door inspectors with risk management tools. This arrangement ensures that all assessments are consistent, comprehensive and evidence-based.

Ongoing transition and innovation

Kings Secure Technologies’ CEO Bob Forsyth commented: “We’re very excited to make this announcement following our two recent acquisitions and the launch of our first SaaS business, namely DYMENSiON. The acquisition of Quidvis Ltd moves us even further down the road of transition and innovation using cutting-edge technology.”

Darren Gamage, chief operating officer of Kings Secure Technologies, added: “In today’s data-driven market, Quidvis Ltd is a fantastic addition to our business and expands both our fire safety and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offers. Through Quidvis Ltd, our stakeholders, be they FM companies or end users, will be digitally armed to view all fire risk and fire door surveys undertaken through the system. The platform gives customers the ability to co-ordinate their fire risk management and drive issues through to a conclusion, allowing them to build a robust ‘golden thread’ of fire risk management across their estate.”

Grant Kennedy, managing director of Quidvis Ltd, responded: “This is an exciting time for Quidvis Ltd as we join the Kings Secure Technologies group of companies. Kings Secure Technologies’ strategy of combining technology, people and Best-in-Class SaaS means that they are the ideal long-term partner for Quidvis Ltd. By combining our strengths, we can deliver an efficient and highly competitive fire risk offer for Kings Secure Technologies’ customers and, ultimately, deliver a safer built environment based on the right information being available to the right people at the right time.”

Kings Secure Technologies was advised on the acquisition by the Leeds offices of RSM and also Squire Patton Boggs’ Leeds office, with Ward Hadaway serving as advisor for Quidvis Ltd.
