Eaton complies with BSIA’s Cyber Security Code of Practice

EATON HAS announced its compliance with the Code of Practice devised by the British Security Industry Association’s (BSIA) Cyber Security Product Assurance Group (CySPAG). As the first manufacturer to take this step, Eaton is leading the way towards a more cyber-secure industry.

The business is dedicated to establishing cyber-secure processes and innovative technologies that make trusted connections work. Eaton’s i-on range of cloud-connectable intruder alarm panels has been certified by Underwriters Laboratories to UL2900-2-3 at Level 3 (ie the highest category). The requirements of this strict cyber security standard relate specifically to security and life safety network-connectable equipment.

At The Security Event, visitors will be able to find out more about Eaton’s cyber security credentials and discover how the reliable and user-friendly i-on range, featuring SecureConnect technology, can save installers both time on site and money by way of remote management and connectivity.

As a business, Eaton’s stated mission is to improve the quality of life and the environment through the use of power management technologies and services. The company develops sustainable solutions that actively help its customers to effectively manage electrical, hydraulic and mechanical power more safely, efficiently and reliably.

The company now sells products to customers in upwards of 175 countries.
