Dylan Gwinn appointed training manager at Linx International Group

LINX INTERNATIONAL Group – the global provider of security, risk management, consulting and training services – has announced the appointment of a new Group training manager. Dylan Gwinn BA (Hons) MSyI joins the business following a 13-year policing career spent working in a variety of roles focused on criminal investigations, response policing and firearms.

Gwinn, who holds a Foundation degree in Protective Security Management and a First Class Honours degree in Security Consultancy, has also served in a variety of security roles within the UK and the USA in relation to school shooting incidents.

In his new role, Gwinn will lead the Linx International Group’s training services and be responsible for developing and overseeing all current and prospective training programmes, ensuring that they’re up-to-date, compliant and meet sector needs.

In practice, Gwinn will deliver security training to professionals all around the world, both in-house and public-facing in scope, while in parallel supporting on consulting services.

Career development

Commenting on his appointment, Gwinn informed Security Matters: “I have always been enthusiastic about teaching and helping people to develop, encouraging them to reach their full potential. I felt that this was the ideal role for me based on my desire to help people achieve their goals within the security sector, both nationally and internationally. Now that I’m in post, I’m very much looking forward to starting that journey both with my fellow colleagues at Linx International Group and our present and future students.”
