WORLD EXCELLENCE Awards – organiser of the Cyber Outstanding Security Performance Awards (Cyber OSPAs), the Outstanding Security Performance Awards and the Tackling Economic Crime Awards – has announced a partnership agreement with the Security Awareness Special Interest Group (SASIG) that will witness the latter host the presentation ceremony for the 2024 Cyber OSPAs in tandem with the ‘Big SASIG’ Conference, itself to be held on 23 April next year in central London.
The Cyber OSPAs have been running since 2021 and aim to recognise and highlight outstanding performance by companies, individuals and targeted initiatives across the cyber security sector on the world stage.
Entries for the Cyber OSPAs 2024 are welcomed right through until 16 January 2024. Nominations are invited in the following categories.
*Outstanding Chief Information Security Officer
*Outstanding Cyber Security Professional
*Outstanding Cyber Security Team
*Outstanding Cyber Security Consultant
*Outstanding Customer Service Initiative
*Outstanding Cyber Security Training/Awareness Initiative
*Outstanding Cyber Security Partnership
*Outstanding Police/Law Enforcement Initiative
*Outstanding Young Cyber Security Professional
*Outstanding New Cyber Security Product
*Outstanding Cyber Security Equipment Manufacturer

Commenting on the partnership, Professor Martin Gill CSyP FSyI (founder of the Cyber OSPAs) explained: “We are absolutely delighted to be working with Martin Smith and the SASIG team to deliver the 2024 Cyber OSPAs. Martin was instrumental in assisting with the development of the Cyber OSPAs, while ‘Big SASIG’ could not be a more fitting backdrop.
