AS THE industry welcomed the 2022 edition of The Security Event, which was held at the NEC in Birmingham from 5-7 April, founding partner Comelit-PAC successfully inspired customers, presenting the very latest smart solutions in security and fire safety to myriad visitors.
On Stand B10 in Hall 3a, Comelit-PAC’s team members were ‘together as one’ at an industry event for the first time since Comelit’s acquisition of PAC-GDX, highlighting the latest networked access control systems together with door entry, CCTV, home automation, intruder alarm and fire detection systems.
Visitors to the NEC for the Nineteen Group-organised Safety and Security Series were able to view the latest combined solutions, including PAC’s 512DC intelligent two-door access controller and Access Central, which stands as a powerful software management platform, together with an innovative range of I/O modules and readers.
Francesca Boeris, managing director of Comelit-PAC, commented: “The Security Event really represented an opportunity for Comelit-PAC’s team as a whole to come together as one, ready to showcase our very latest smart security and fire safety-focused solutions covering the IP access control, home automation, CCTV, fire and intruder alarm portfolios.”
Boeris continued: “We were really inspired by the visitors to the stand. We were able to discuss individual projects and present ways in which Comelit-PAC can assist with projects, not only in terms of products, but also through technical and specification teams able to present a powerful solution. They also consider the increasing preference for remote and mobile monitoring. We’re very much looking forward to following up on all of our conversations.”
Specialist fire team
Well received was Comelit-PAC’s specialist fire team, members of which demonstrated the LogiFire addressable panel. This has been designed to offer a simple-to-install fire safety solution that’s compliant with the latest standards. It’s complemented by a new range of detectors.
Comelit-PAC also presented its latest updated home automation systems, including Maxi Manager with Android, alongside smart integration with Amazon Alexa, Google Home and Echo Show.
Further, Boeris noted: “Following on from the success of The Security Event in September last year, we were looking forward to welcoming a high number of quality visitors to our stand. We were not disappointed. As a founding partner, we continue to be proud of The Security Event. It continues to deliver as a platform for discovering more about security and fire safety solutions that offer high performance and simple installation procedures. We are already excited for the next edition of the show.”
In conclusion, Boeris informed Security Matters: “As our stand campaign of ‘With You, Always,’ implied, we are able to support customers from specification right through to project completion with the right products and services.”
