Bold Security Group joins IFPO UK and Ireland as corporate member

THE INTERNATIONAL Foundation for Protection Officers (UK and Ireland) has welcomed the Bold Security Group as a corporate member. Bold Security is a rapidly growing security company. With its head office based in Essex, the business also operates out of locations in London and Ashford, boasts a national reach and supports many of the biggest brands in the industry.

Engaging with IFPO UK and Ireland will help Bold Security support its front line security officers in their security learning and career development goals and also help in maintain the high service levels they deliver in support of customers.

Professional membership association

IFPO UK and Ireland is a not-for-profit professional membership association providing professional learning opportunities for security practitioners such that they can acquire the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to maximise their job performance and enhance their career potential.

As an organisation, IFPO was itself established in 1988 in Canada by Ron Minion, a former member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the owner of a large Canadian contract business. Minion served as IFPO’s executive director until 1992, and was then succeeded by Sandi Davies, who has held that office ever since.

IFPO boasts members in 68 countries. Security professionals based in no fewer than 56 countries study on its educational programmes. Over 12,000 individuals have already achieved IFPO qualifications.
