SQUIRE LOCKS, the world’s oldest padlock manufacturer, will be exhibiting at The Security Event 2026, offering visitors an exclusive look at its newest Bluetooth innovations on Stand B135 at the NEC from 28-30 April.
The new range will enhance convenience even further for locksmiths, security installers and facility managers across a range of business sectors, including transport, hospitality and retail, offering remote locking capabilities in a selection of Bluetooth-enabled padlocks.
The new products will also provide complete audit trails for extra peace of mind and receive first-class security accreditations to ensure data remains secure.
Visitors at The Security Event will be able to test the products for themselves and learn more about them ahead of their market release.
Wireless access control
Alongside the new releases, Squire Locks will also be exhibiting inigma, the company’s smart wireless access control system. inigma uses Bluetooth technology to control connected padlocks via a smart key operated by the dedicated inigma smart phone or desktop application.
Using inigma, administrators can view complete audit trails to see who accessed a lock and when and give and revoke access as required. Data captured by inigma is secured by end-to-end encryption, with the backing of inigma’s Level 3 BSI Kitemark for Secure Digital Applications (the highest achieved by any product on the market).
Across the three days at the NEC, Stand B135 will also showcase the SS100CS LEV5 padlock: the first and only padlock on the market to achieve an SR5 certification from the Loss Prevention Certification Board. Designed for high-security applications such as Critical National Infrastructure, the SS100CS LEV5 demonstrates its resistance against extreme attack through its SR5 certification as well as CEN6 and Secured by Design recognition.
The SS100CS LEV5 boasts a 100 mm-wide hardened steel body and a 20 mm-diameter boron hardened steel shackle, both reinforced with tungsten carbide for even further resistance against attack. Anti-drill protection offers enhanced defence against tampering.
Listening to the market
Andy Hudson, product manager for inigma at Squire Locks, explained: “We’re excited to return to The Security Event and cannot wait to introduce visitors to the brand new advancements in our product line.”
Hudson continued: “At Squire Locks, we pride ourselves on listening to the market and constantly innovating to deliver exactly what our customers want. Convenience and high-security are crucial for many facility managers. We’re pleased to be able to provide both of these within our extensive product range.”
